Place these items at the top of your main tab with placeholders.

  • Food (for antelopes)
  • Coins (for banking moonlight moths)
  • Knife or worn Fletching knife (for setting up pitfall traps)
  • Chisel (for bolt fletching bolts)
  • Teasing stick (for rumours/antelopes)
  • Quetzal whistle (for rumours)
  • Raw hunter meats (e.g., Kyatt or Pyre fox meats for moth mixes or charging whistles)
  • Optional: Meat pouch (manual opening required)

Blocklist for Rumours

The Hunter Guild contains several Hunter Masters who give assignments (think Slayer Tasks). You can only hunt a specific animal for one Hunter Master at a time. If lower-tier Masters have already assigned you all of these animals: Dashing kebbit, Tecu salamander, Red chinchompa, Red salamander and Herbiboar, then Guild Hunter Wolf can only assign you Moonlight Moths, Sunlight Antelopes or Moonlight Antelopes.

Required blocks

Gilman: Herbiboar OR Dashing kebbit
Cervus: Red chinchompa
Ornus: Red salamander
Teco: Dashing kebbit OR Herbiboar
Aco: Tecu salamander

BE CAREFUL, GILMAN CAN OFFER TO RESET ALL OF YOUR BLOCKS!

IF YOU ASK FOR A "NEW ONE ENTIRELY" FROM GILMAN ALL OF YOUR BLOCKS WILL BE RESET!

If you're building a new account and planning to use this script later, block a lower-tier Hunter Master as early as possible. You can only be assigned animals that match your current Hunter level.

Avoid completing Eagles' Peak until you're ready to start Master tier Rumours. Without this quest completed, you won't be assigned any box trap animals.

How I set the blocklist

Starting at Level 69 Hunter
1. Complete Cervus tasks until he assigns Red chinchompas
2. Complete Ornus tasks until he assigns Red salamanders
3. Complete Gilman tasks until he assigns Dashing kebbits
4. Level to 80 Hunter
5. Complete Teco tasks until he assigns Herbiboar
6. Level to 81 Hunter
7. Complete Aco tasks until he assigns Tecu salamander
8. Complete Eagles Peak if not done already
9. Complete Cervus tasks until he assigns Red chinchompas
